about

Freddy Antell Interiors is a London-based design studio. Freddy originally studied Fine Art Photography at UAL and having worked successfully in the commercial world of photography and interiors.  She completed her Interior Design Diploma at Chelsea Harbour KLC School of Design in 2011.

Central to my aesthetic is the interweaving of styles from vintage to contemporary.  Every home has a story to tell and it’s important that my clients tastes and personality form a key part of this story.

Layering, detail and light form the foundations of my design. I listen to how my clients describe their lifestyle and how they like to live, work and entertain in their homes now and how this might evolve over time. I start each project with a concept board to inspire and guide my clients. As the project moves forward I then create specific mood boards for each room with colour, swatches and textures. I take an organic approach to each project.

I have a passion for lights. Lighting is one of the key elements to an interiors scheme and my lighting plans take into account the use and function of each room to create a layered lighting scheme for your home. I regularly use vintage lighting or furniture in a contemporary design scheme as I believe they add layers of depth and interest.

Quite often I am asked to design an interior scheme around a favourite or key piece of art and I am happy to source other paintings and sculpture through my creative contacts (galleries, auction houses, artists and makers). Whether you are considering a total overhaul of your home via a complete renovation or extension or just interested in refreshing a particular room, I am happy to discuss any size of brief.
